If a rodeo is postponed after entries have been taken all
entries will be cancelled and competitors have to re-enter
on new dates advertised.

Entry confirmation Number- If a contestant cannot give the correct confirmation number, a discrepancy cannot be investigated. Please refer to your rule book.

PLEASE NOTEThere is no competitor insurance.  This is due to unfavourable premium demands.  Competitors compete at their own risk.  It is recommended that competitors at least take out Private Ambulance Cover in the event of injury.   

Procedure for Central Entry – Competitor

RODEO ENTRIES
Entries are taken by phoning 1800 028 992 on the Thursday and Friday, between 9am and 5pm EST, a full week prior to rodeo date. Procedure as per page 29 of rule book.
Competitors are given an ‘entry number’ which is confirmation of their entry. It is the competitors responsibility to record this number.
The phone will go through a message, which is changed each week, and then it will be placed on hold till staff answer, to take entry. This is not an automated service; you will be talking direct with staff.
Entries will not be accepted via email or fax, as we are unable to confirm entries and / or fines.
MEMBERS - Payments of entriesCompetitors, who are members with a Central Entry bond, can pay entry fees on the day of the rodeo direct to the committee.

PREPAYMENT OF ENTRIES
Competitors who are non-members must Pre Pay their entry fees and day permit to Head Office by 12pm EST on the Monday prior to the rodeo.
Head Office can take credit card payments over the phone, or money can be wired or posted.
Failure to pay entry fees by deadline (12pm the Monday prior) will result in the competitor being taken out of draw. There is no getting back into draw after 12pm EST Monday.
QLD / WA entry fees may be paid direct to the committee or approval for competitors to stay in draw can be made by the QLD / WA committee. (Turnouts are not claimable if the committee has approved a competitor to remain in draw and the competitor fails to turn up)
CENTRAL ENTRY BOND
A competitor may submit a Central Entry bond of $100 at any time. They must be a financial member to do so. This is held for a minimum of 3 months and is used as security for a competitor to then pay entry fees on the day.
Any fines or turnouts will be deducted out of the bond and the bond must be returned to $100 before next entries will be accepted.
To refund the CE bond, a written request must be sent to Head Office.
LATE ENTRY
Late entries are taken betwe
en 9am and 12pm EST on the Monday prior. This is a privilege for members with a CE bond only.
Late entries attract a $22 late entry fee, which has to be paid to Head Office prior to next entries being accepted.
CENTRAL ENTRY DATES
There are some changes to central entry dates during public holidays and Christmas break. All CE dates are listed in the magazine and on the web site.
CALLBACKS
Competitors can receive a ‘callback’ either by phone or on the website
Draws are posted on the website, usually by the Wednesday afternoon prior to the rodeo, or by phoning 02 6761 2645 on the Thursday prior to the rodeo, between 9am and 5pm EST.
PAYMENT OF FINES OR TURNOUTS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Payment of fines or turnouts must be paid direct to Head Office.
Committees are unable to accept payment for fines or membership.
TURNOUTS FINES, MEDICAL OUTS & NON-COMPETING PERIODS
CE bond competitors, who fail to turn up or pay entry fees, will receive a fine that will be collected by Head Office before the next entries will be accepted.
Fine will consist of entry fees, plus a $22 penalty. This may vary depending on circumstances. Competitors are encouraged to contact Head Office to cancel entries, if they are unable to attend.
Competitors, who have prepaid entry fees and fail to turn up, forfeit their entry fees.
To medical out of an event, a medical certificate must be sent to Head Office within 10 days of the cancellation.
The turnout fine will be reduced with a medical certificate.
